FPCD Assistants Run Workshop at Youth Assembly in the United Nations

FPCD Assistants Faith Bogue and Rachel McCroy facilitated a workshop discussion on Maternal Health at the UN Youth Assembly, August 4-6. The workshop was one of eight sessions which focused on informing and discussing the Millennium Development Goals. The discussion focused on the current issues surrounding the achievement of universal maternal health, certain cultural barriers, possible solutions, and the ways in which the FPCD  is working to improve maternal health through the construction of maternity clinics in Timor- Leste.
