Message from H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco on the occasion of the 1 year Anniversary of the Prince Rainier III Maternity Clinic in Same, Timor-Leste

Executive Director of the Foundation for Post Conflict Development, Ms. Claudia Abate, was asked to convey a message from Prince Albert II of Monaco to the authorities in Timor-Leste, whereby she shared Prince Albert II of Monaco's fond memories of the inauguration of the Prince Rainier III Maternity Clinic in Same District, Timor-Leste.



Dressed in traditional clothes, Ms. Abate read the message from Prince Albert II of Monaco in the Timorese local language - Tetum. The message was well received and was followed by the presentation of photos and a photo album of the April 19 2008 Celebrations.

The Community in Same, Timor-Leste are very grateful for the kind assistance of Prince Albert II and the Principality of Monaco. They will never forget that the day of Prince Albert's visit coincided with the wedding anniversary of His Parents: Prince Rainier III and Princess Grace of Monaco. In light of this fact the authorities of Timor-Leste would welcome a second Maternity Clinic named after Princess Grace of Monaco so that Monaco's presence in Timor-Leste will be complete.
